What is New Day?

New Day is a creative project in support of the Red Door Family Shelter, a beloved local organization providing safe and supportive shelter to hundreds of families in crises each year. Red Door aims to break the cycle of family homelessness by keeping families together and helping them to establish a stable life beyond the shelter.

All proceeds from the sales of New Day items will go to the shelter. You can also donate directly here.
New Day series 1 is a calendar collaboration between photographers SATY+PRATHA and floral designer Coyote Flowers – featuring joyous floral imagery, it is imbued with much optimism for the year ahead!

Red Door Shelter

About

Established in 1982, the Red Door Family Shelter supports over 350 families every year. The shelter’s emergency programs help women and families, as well as refugees fleeing violence. Most families are re-established back to independent living within approximately 4-6 months.

COVID-19 is amplifying the crisis facing women escaping domestic violence, families with insecure housing, and refugees with nowhere else to turn. A purchase or donation can give a family in crisis a fresh start.
Here’s how your New Day purchase will help

$100 raised - provides a baby care package for a new mom at the shelter

$500 raised - moves a family into their new home with essential furniture and household items

$1,000 raised - provides 5 families with groceries and supplies from our weekly food bank for 1 year
